Though we hope that your pet never experiences a medical emergency, the unfortunate reality is that unexpected events do occur. In these moments, it’s only natural to panic and immediately assume the worst. However, it’s important to stay as calm as possible and know what to do in an emergency situation with your pet.

We strongly recommend that new and existing clients call our office right away in an emergency situation so that we can get your pet the help it needs as soon as possible. In the case that our hospital is closed, our sister clinic is here for you on the weekends and nearby animal ER facilities are also listed below for immediate attention and trauma care.

For added convenience, our patients may be seen at our sister clinic, New Market Animal Hospital, on Saturday and Sunday when our office is closed. Their weekend office hours are Saturday 8-3 and Sunday 9-4. For life threatening emergencies, we recommend you go to the closest ER facilities:
