Amie Carrier, DVM
Originally from a small town outside Hartford, Connecticut, Dr. Carrier left New England and traveled south to Pennsylvania where she graduated with her B.S in Biology. She continued south and joined the Volunteers of Tennessee for Veterinary School. Amie then followed her passions in small animal internal medicine and surgery south to Alabama where she completed a rotating internship as an Auburn Tiger. Dr. Carrier then traveled to Maryland to a dual residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine and Emergency/Critical Care.
Amie’s specialties includes small animal internal medicine, anesthesiology, dermatology, and emergency/critical care. Amie has three human children with a fourth ready to make her debut any day. She has a perfect fur-baby, Brooks, who is her most faithful and loving companion. Amie’s hobbies include reading, teaching, scrap-booking, cooking, rescuing, and watching sports.
